FAQ

Choosing Between Them

Which porta potty should I rent for a job site?
Standard units, one per ten workers, plus a handwashing station. Add an accessible unit if the public can reach the site or your contract requires it. Deluxe units and trailers are event equipment — they don’t earn their rate on a construction site.
What’s the difference between deluxe and luxury?
A deluxe unit is still a single portable booth: it just flushes and has an interior sink. A luxury restroom trailer is a towed structure with porcelain toilets, vanities, heat and lighting, and guests step up into it. The price gap between them is large and so is the difference in feel.
Do I need a handwashing station as well as a restroom?
If there’s food, if there’s a health inspection, or if it’s a construction site with concrete or dust — yes. Standard and ADA units have no sink, so the station is the only handwashing on site.
Can I mix unit types in one order?
That’s the normal order. Most events end up with a run of standards, one ADA unit and a sink or two; weddings usually pair a trailer with an accessible unit. It’s all one delivery and one flat quote.
Which units work best in Seattle winter weather?
Standard and ADA units handle the wet season without issue. Handwashing stations can be winterised for hard frosts, and restroom trailers are the only climate-controlled option — which is why they carry so many autumn and winter events here.
